Google Camera v2.2 update brings a lot of new features,

The version 2.2 brings an option to set a timer and capture images in 16:9 ratio.

Google has rolled out another update to its newly launched standalone Google Camera app. As expected, the update brings several news features and new shooting modes.

The updated Google Camera version 2.2 adds two new Panorama modes - fisheye mode and wide-angle mode. The new modes are in addition to the existing horizontal and vertical Panorama modes.

The main highlight of the update is the newly added support to click images in 16:9 ratio. Users, however, may have to lower the camera resolution to take 16:9 images. Moreover, a new cropping selection screen has been added.

The camera update also brings in a new timer mode with 10 and 3 seconds option. Google has made it easier to access the settings option with a new settings button, which users can access by swiping from left.

   

The update is now rolling out on the Play Store and should be available for download soon.

                                 

AT&T Galaxy S5 Active officially launched

As the cat is already out of the bag , AT&T has seemingly gone ahead of its rumored June announcement. Now the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is real and official, and it is exactly what we've seen so far, nothing less, and perhaps unfortunately, nothing more as well.

The screen is officially confirmed to be a 5.1-inch 1080p AMOLED display, exactly the same as the Galaxy S5. With 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB,  the 16 megapixel rear camera & a heart rate sensor , just same as the Galaxy S5 .

The real difference between the Galaxy S5 and this new Galaxy S5 Active is the ruggedness of the new one . Aside from the IP67 dust and water resistance score already present in both devices, the Galaxy S5 Active adds another medal to its coat, that of MIL-STD 810G, the latest version of the military standard for shock resistant equipment.

In terms of software it also add Activity Zone app which was leaked earlier. which brings together all the activity and health related apps and features of the smartphone. It also confirms the presence of a barometer inside the device.

Because it is practically the Galaxy S5 augmented with rugged features, we speculated that the price will also be augmented compared to the flagship. This is perhaps one of those times when we wished we were wrong. AT&T will be selling no-contract Galaxy S5 Active units for a not insignificant $714.99. This is quite a lot compared to the Galaxy S5's $649 price tag. The carrier will, however, be throwing buyers a bone, shaving off $50 from the Samsung Gear Fit should they decide to buy one as well.

                                            

                    

     

                                               

                       

Google unveils its self-driving car..

Google has unveiled a two seater prototype with built in sensors and software to safely maneuver around obstacles.

Google Co-Founder Sergey Brin has unveiled a prototype self-driving car that can get people from one place to another without requiring any physical user input. The all-electric vehicle doesn't have a steering wheel or pedals or even an accelerator, instead users have to just push a button and they’re on their way.

The two-seater prototype of the vehicle was unveiled by Google CEO Sergey Brin during an onstage interview at the Recode Code Conference in Palos Verdes, California. Google's prototype comes with built-in sensors and has a software system to safely maneuver the vehicle.

“The project is about changing the world for people who are not well-served by transportation today,” Google co-founder Sergey Brin said at the inaugural Code Conference in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. “There’s not great public transportation in many public places in the United States.”

According to Google, the objective of the self-driving cars is to be "significantly" safer than human-driven cars in a few years. Brin stated that the project has experienced no crashes during testing as the cars operate at speeds of around 25 miles per hour only which gives them more time to react to obstacles.

Google robo-cars have already logged more than 700,000 hours since it began working on the vehicles in 2009. Google plans to launch the cars between 2017 and 2020 for the general public. Apart from Google other technology companies are also working on developing and testing self-driving technologies. Nissan, General Motors, and automotive supplier Continental all expect to have self-driving cars on the road by 2020. Ford Motor Co. has also unveiled a self-driving prototype car while Telsa Motors aims to have a car which can handle 90 percent of driving duties by 2016.

LG G3

LG finally launched its flagship by a great quote that is "Simple Is the New Smart" , i.e. LG G3 in london. It will give a perfect competition to its rivals ,they are Samsung Galaxy S5 , HTC One (M8) , Sony Xperia Z2 on android platform & One+1 , Oppo fine 7 and finally iphone 5s. 

Every mobile phone manufactures wants that his phone will be on  the top , LG took its phone on a different level .Rather than increasing Processor n RAM , LG focused on many thing , we will talk about all of them below on this blog..

Display of the G3 is ground breaking , & with a narrow bezels it sounds awesome . It comes with a thrilling resolution of  2560 x 1440 . With a huge ppi (pixels per inch ) count of 534.04 . With a 5.5 Quad HD equal to 2k , colors are crispy and not soo saturated like Samsung's screens.

G3 is powered by a beast  quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, up to 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and room for a microSD card which supports up to 128 Gb. 

LG has redesigned its Android UI , and added a new Smart Notice service that works much like Google Now. It'll remind you to call someone back, nag you to uninstall unused apps, and make timely recommendations like "you may want to take an umbrella today since it will rain this evening." LG says that it will work just like a personal assistant . Maybe much more than that , because it have all your personal data....

With a innovation in the field of camera LG G3 has a 13-megapixel sensor, optical image stabilization, and a new laser autofocus system (a first among smartphones). The front-facing camera has also been upgraded with a wider aperture and new gesture-detection that will snap a selfie when you clench a fist in front of it.

LG calles the surface of the phone "Metallic Skin" . Though designed to simulate the look of brushed metal, the LG G3's construction remains plastic. Lightweight, well-rounded, and comfortable in the hand, but not as delightful as the all-aluminum HTC One. 



Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Moon Violet, and Burgundy Red varieties of the LG G3 will be available globally via more than 170 carriers. The home market of South Korea gets LG's new flagship phone right away, launched May 28th, with the rest of the world to follow from June.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 : Review.

"Surface Pro 3 will replace your laptop."

I can say without apology that the Surface Pro 3 is probably the most beautiful thing Microsoft has ever produced. It’s actually difficult to believe the same company that designed the over-sized VCR that is the Xbox One also created this 0.36-inch-thick wonder of technology. Microsoft is keen to compare it to the 13-inch MacBook Air and it’s not crazy to do so; both are among the best-designed pieces of PC hardware I've used in the last few years.

That’s if you judge it by laptop standards. By tablet standards, it’s a massive machine, with a gigantic 12-inch screen that weighs in at a relatively heavy 1.76 pounds. It’s much lighter than most laptops, but definitely not in the same class as the iPad Air, which weighs only a pound.

The body is made out of magnesium, just like the previous Surface models, with the same angled edges and clean lines that have come to define the Surface lineup. It’s refreshingly clear of logos and other accoutrements, but unfortunately it’s also relatively clear of ports — at least by PC standards. There’s a single USB 3.0 port, Mini DisplayPort, headset jack, and a microSD card slot underneath the hinge. The charging port has been updated, too; it uses a small fin that clicks in with a magnet and is much less likely to get bumped off than before.

Microsoft has developed a new fan by spending a lots of tired hours , to cool its device . This new fan is quite efficient and silent  , and most awesome feature is that it also cool the i7 processor , which is a high-end processor till now.

 Thin and light are both nice, but the biggest functional change in the Surface Pro 3 comes in a redesigned kickstand. Previous Surfaces locked you into one or two specific angles, which meant that getting comfortable with the tablet on your lap was a hassle. This new Surface uses friction on the hinge to allow you to set it at any angle between 22 degrees and 150 degrees. That means it’s great for desk work, great for drawing, and much better on your lap. The resistance on the kickstand feels very well-tuned, giving just the right amount of firmness as you move it. Though I can’t yet say whether it will get looser over time, the mechanism looks like it’s been engineered to prevent that.

One more upgrade from Microsoft is the display , It’s a 12-inch touchscreen that crams in 2160 x 1440 pixels (The iPad Air, by comparison, is 2048 x 1536. The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina is 2560 x 1600). Microsoft says that it worked very hard to make the entire display thinner (which helps with pen input), and also endeavored to improve the viewing angles.And , and its the first device with 3:2 aspect ratio 

Drawing with the pen feels super accurate and as natural as putting plastic to glass can reasonably be. The aforementioned thin display stack means your digital "ink" is close to the pen tip and responsiveness seemed good. You can also click the "cap" on the pen at any time to launch directly into OneNote (even when the screen is off) to jot down notes. Adobe says a touch and pen-optimized version of Photoshop should be coming soon as well.

The final piece of the Surface Pro 3’s hardware puzzle is the new Type Cover. As before, it features real, backlit physical keys. It still doesn’t feel quite as good as a proper laptop keyboard, but part of that is the plastic, clackety noise it makes when I’m banging away at full tilt.

Microsoft made the trackpad bigger too. It’s much better than before, but it’s still too small and frustrating in the way trackpads often are on Windows machines. I’m constantly mis-clicking or mis-dragging things and never know whether I should be blaming Windows, the hardware, or my fumbling fingers. That the truth surely lies in the middle of those three options doesn’t really make me feel any better.

Conclusion
As per me all the configurations are good enough , but it can't replace a laptop because using a laptop in a sitting condition & using surface pro 3 in that same condition , makes a huge difference . If you want a Laptop cum Tablet which is powerful enough to handle your high performance work then it accommodates with your requirements .

Iphone 6 , what to expect...@#&%

There are many rumors for the next iphone , one Chinese manufacturer has launched its Dummy iphone whose design would be like the next iphone.. 

A new video detailing a dummy unit of Apple's next flagship smartphone iPhone 6 has hit the web. In the video, the unit is pitted against an iPhone 5s, the 4.7-inch Moto X and the 5-inch HTC One (M8).

This video suggests that the ipone 6 should have a 4.7 inch display with a big bexels. It has rounded edges and aluminium shell. It also features a physical home key button. There are no proofs of the bio-matrix sensor .The new video comes shortly after images of a dummy unit of the smartphone leaked to the web. According to the leaked images, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 model will sport a dimension of 137.5x67x7mm.

Many rumors suggests that the ipone 6 will be available in 16 , 32,64 & 128 Gb versions , but the 128 Gb model features Sapphire display which is a high quality display .

Compiling the previous rumours, the next iPhone, dubbed as the iPhone 6, will be available in two screen sizes – 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch. The display in the next version will have better resolution than the current and older Apple flagships. According to rumours, the iPhone 6 may have an upgraded camera along with image stabilization. The smartphone will be powered by a new A8 64bit processor.

The new video, however, corroborates older rumours the next iPhone will be slim despite larger screen size.

Apple is expected to release the iPhone 6 in September this year. We can expect more information about the smartphone leaked/released before the official release.
